The Silver Strike Lodge is located in the Empire Pass area of Deer Valley, also known as Flagstaff Mountain, at the base of the Silver Strike Express Chairlift.
Empire Pass is part of Deer Valley, but has separate access, and will have an identity all its own. High architectural standards and low density will create a residential enclave of the highest order.
- How many residences will be available in The Silver Strike Lodge?
There are a total of 33 residences available, offering a combination of two to four bedrooms. Each wonderful floor plan will incorporate dramatic elements, such as archways, beamed ceilings, crown moldings and stone fireplaces. Penthouses will add vaulted ceilings and hand-hewn trusses.
- Is The Silver Strike Lodge a ski-in, ski-out property?
Yes, it is at the base of the Silver Strike Express Chairlift.
- How far is The Silver Strike Lodge from the Salt Lake International Airport?
The Silver Strike Lodge is 45 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport, most of it an easy drive on Interstate 80.
- Is there a closer airport than the Salt Lake International Airport to The Silver Strike Lodge?
Yes, the Heber Airport is located 18 miles from The Silver Strike Lodge and will accommodate large private aircraft.
- How far is The Silver Strike Lodge from Park City?
The Silver Strike Lodge falls within the Park City limits, and is approximately five minutes from the dining and shops of downtown Park City.
- Will there be a public transportation system servicing The Silver Strike Lodge?
Yes, "Dial-A-Ride" limo service will be complimentary to residents of Empire Pass, including The Silver Strike Lodge. It will take homeowners to their destinations in Deer Valley and the downtown Park City area.
- What is the Talisker Club?
The Talisker Club is an exclusive, members-only club open only to homeowners in Empire Pass and the Tuhaye Golf Club. As a Silver Strike Lodge owner, membership will be available and invitation fees of $100,000 paid for by the Developers of The Silver Strike Lodge and will include access to the Empire Pass Club main lodge, Tree House Restaurant, Dial-a-ride limo service, Bonanza Club house and the Tuhaye Golf Club's 18 hole course, 2 swimming pools, restaurant and activities center.
- What kind of amenities are available for owners at The Silver Strike Lodge?
The Silver Strike Lodge will be part of the private Empire Pass area of Deer Valley. As such, owners of The Silver Strike Lodge will enjoy complimentary membership to the Talisker Club located in Empire Pass.
The Silver Strike Lodge will have its own fitness facility, a ski-side owners' lounge, grotto-style hot tubs, and a ski locker room. Owners will also have access to a guest suite.
- How many phases will there be?
The Silver Strike Lodge will be built in one phase, with owners being able to move in starting in the spring of 2008.
- Who are the Developers?
Jack Koson and Matt Mullin, principals of Ironwood Resort Development LLC, are the developers of The Silver Strike Lodge. Jack and Matt have developed extensive high-end projects in the Rocky Mountain West, including projects in Vail, Steamboat Springs, Beaver Creek, Arrowhead and Deer Valley. Locally they have completed the first project in Empire Pass, Ironwood and are nearing completion of The Grand Lodge.
- How will services be provided?
A full-time Concierge and Lodge Manager will ensure on-site attention to homeowners' needs.
- When will construction of The Silver Strike Lodge begin?
Construction of The Silver Strike Lodge will begin in the spring of 2006. It is anticipated that The Silver Strike Lodge will be ready for occupancy by the spring of 2008.
- Who is the architect for The Silver Strike Lodge?
The well-known Salt Lake City firm, John Shirley & Associates.
- Will there be private lockers at The Silver Strike Lodge?
Yes, the private lockers will provide ample storage for all ski gear.
- Will there be a lobby at The Silver Strike Lodge?
Yes, from the dramatic porte-cochere, one enters a luxurious lobby. A massive fireplace with hearthstone will greet visitors.
- What type of Purchase Contract will be used when purchasing a Silver Strike Lodge unit?
The purchase agreement is an Option contract that will transition into a Real Estate Purchase Contract once the property is platted as condominiums. A 10% deposit will be required at the time of the signing of the Option Agreement, with an additional 10% deposit required for a total of 20% upon completion of the due-diligence period.
